Cute craft!

Supplies:

• diary or journal with a blank or solid colored cover
• an old pair of jeans or shorts
• scissors
• hot glue gun
  

Step 1: Cut 1 pocket of the jeans/shorts. Step 2: Glue the pocket to the front of the journal. Step 3: stick your pens/pencils in the pocket and you are done!

Mother's Day craft!

If you color hard boiled eggs on Easter, save the container because here is our craft you can easily make for your loving mom! Egg carton Flowers! *= optional

Supplies

• empty egg carton
• scissors
• straws or pipe cleaners
• * acrylic paints, colored sharpies or non-washable markers (poster paints or any other paints will not work)
  

1. Cut down the middle of the empty egg carton. Now take the part with the indents to hold eggs and cut down the middle of that. Be careful this part's tricky!
2. Cut out each individual egg indent, you should end up with twelve unless you have an egg carton that holds more than a dozen.
   
3. Use the cuts you've made and turn them into shapes of different flowers.
4. * Now grab your paints/markers to color the flowers. This is optional, you may want to give your mom white flowers.
5. Make a hole at the bottom of each flower and stick the straw/pipe cleaner through the hole.
6. Find an empty vase, stick the flowers in, and give them to your mom on mothers day!
